Manisha and Suraj had their misri on April 12th, 2000.  The misri was held at Dan Pathohar Gurdwara in Santacruz, Mumbai.  The ceremony was held upstairs at the gurdwara and the exchange of garlands and the rest of the engagement rituals were downstairs in the hall.

Of course, no ceremony's complete without some incredible food - so obviously there was a wonderful Indian dinner following the misri - it even had a Pani Puri stand... knowing how much I love all types of chaat - I believe there's a conspiracy at work to make me realize how much I should have gone to this engagement...

A big bash was held on the next day April 13, 2000 at Venue in Santacruz, Mumbai to celebrate, over a lavish dinner, Suraj and Manisha's engagement and Manisha's birthday as well..
